It dissolves in water already at room temperature. Its solubility is 460 ml/l, which is much higher than the solubility of other lighter noble gases. Radon measurements are carried out in air, water and soil. The following instruments are used for measurements: Measuring complex for monitoring radon, thoron and their daughter products "Alfarad Plus", Radon radiometer "RAMON-RADON -01" combined in a single case.

Detailed radiological analysis of water
The result of the analysis for drinking water is the calculation of the radiation safety factor. It is calculated from the sum of all nuclides included in the composition of water taking into account the norms and inherent errors obtained during analysis. Laboratory tests are carried out using the Alpha Beta Radiometer UMF-2000, a gamma spectrometer with a high-resolution semiconductor detector. Serious radiochemical sample preparation is required for the deployed radiological analysis of water.
