Industrial enterprises have a negative impact on the health and living conditions of millions of people through emissions into the environment. On the contrary, an enterprise's concern for the environment reduces social tensions, improves its image, makes it more attractive to employees and increases its market value.
Installation of automatic monitoring and control systems is a necessary stage of the environmental safety improvement programme and allows to comply with the requirements of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 2 January 2021: Article 184 p.2 paras. 3, Article 186 p.4, as well as the Order of the Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 22 June 2021 № 208 ‘On Approval of the Rules for maintaining an automated system for monitoring emissions into the environment during industrial environmental control and requirements for reporting on the results of industrial environmental control’.
First of all, environmental emission monitoring systems should be equipped with facilities of I category.
Advantages of using the system to control emissions and discharges
- An enterprise that implements emission monitoring systems reduces the risks of fines and increased attention of supervisory authorities, and can see violations and make corrections in a timely manner.
- Continuous monitoring of emissions makes it possible to assess the feasibility of introducing progressive technologies aimed at improving the environmental safety of the production process.
- Implementation of environmental monitoring systems and subsequent emission reduction measures lead to improvement of the environmental situation in settlements.
- Improving the reputation of the company.
- Collection and primary processing of input information, storage and transfer of measurement data and forecasts, formation of the enterprise's emission reporting, formation of the forecast of the environmental situation.
- Control of compliance with emission standards, comparison of the quantity and content of pollutants with the standards, equipment diagnostics.

PROJECT EXECUTION STAGES
Project initiation
Study of the source documentation or a visit to the enterprise for preliminary selection and agreement of device installation locations and the architecture of the monitoring system as a whole.
Pre-project survey
An important stage in the work of the project team, because the data obtained will determine the quality of project implementation, accuracy of subsequent work, convenience and cost of system maintenance. Together with the established project team and ECOEXPERT specialists, representatives of the enterprise participate in the detailed study.
Development of requirement specification
The project team is formed of specialists from the design, engineering and research departments of ECOEXPERT Company. Participants from the enterprise side provide access to the required data and complete the questionnaires. If the terms of reference have not been finalised yet, the scope and timing of work will be clarified together with representatives of the enterprise
Development and approval of project documentation
The design involves: lead project engineer, project engineers, flow metering and analytics experts. Each stage of design is coordinated with representatives of the enterprise.
Equipment Supply. Chief installation and commissioning works
Factory, metrological and acceptance tests are carried out at the customer's site. Specialists from the company are directly involved in the factory acceptance tests.
Commissioning
Commissioning is an integral and final stage of system implementation. System support can also be provided during commercial operation, including after the expiry of the warranty period, which is normally 12 months from the date of system commissioning, on the basis of a service contract.
Training. Service
